MARA Holdings — one of the largest publicly traded Bitcoin miners — moved 1,650 BTC (about $132.8M) to Galaxy Digital, Copper and other institutional platforms in 12 hours on November 5, according to on-chain tracker Lookonchain. The transfer alone does not confirm a sale, and MARA has not stated its purpose — but it follows 996 BTC sent to Galaxy Digital in October, and MARA sold 23,093 BTC for ~$1.6B in the first half of 2026.

Cloudflare jumped about 17% in after-hours trading on November 5 after reporting third-quarter revenue of $782.5 million, up 39% year over year, and lifting its full-year outlook. Non-GAAP earnings came in at $0.38 per share, up from $0.27 a year ago, with free cash flow of $82.1 million. The rebound came after a brutal session in which the stock fell 8.3% to $244.51 as the Nasdaq plunged 5.5% in a chip-led selloff. Airbnb also rose about 10% after hours on strong bookings and a new $12 billion buyback.

Core Scientific is walking away from Bitcoin mining. The Nasdaq-listed miner will end all self-mining by Dec 31, 2026 and pivot fully to AI data-center colocation from 2027.
Q3 colocation revenue hit $215.4M — up nearly 60% in a quarter and now about 93% of revenue — while mining revenue fell 79% year over year to just $12.3M. The mining fleet is already down nearly 50% since end-2025, and the company paid $41.9M to exit its Block/Proto chip supply deal.
One of mining's biggest names is now an AI infrastructure play.

🏦 BANK OF ENGLAND HIKES RATES TO 4% — FIRST RISE SINCE 2023
The Bank of England raised its benchmark rate by 25 basis points to 4.00% on Thursday — its first hike since August 2023.

• Bank Rate: 3.75% → 4.00%
• MPC vote: 8-1 in favour (Catherine Mann wanted a bigger hike to 4.25%)
• UK inflation: 3.5% in September — the Bank expects it near 5% by mid-2027
Governor Andrew Bailey warned more hikes could follow if the US-Iran conflict keeps pushing energy prices higher. The next decision is due December 17.

🇬🇷 Greece just approved its first-ever crypto tax framework.
Parliament voted on Nov 5 to levy a 10% capital gains tax on crypto — down from the 15% originally proposed. The first €500 (~$563) of annual net gains is tax-free, and crypto-to-crypto swaps won't trigger tax. The new rules apply from January 1, 2027.
Greece joins a growing list of EU states bringing crypto fully into the tax net.
