IREN surged nearly 20% on Friday after the former Bitcoin miner reported AI cloud revenue of $200 million — up 182% in a single quarter — as its pivot to AI infrastructure pays off. Total revenue jumped 66% to $228 million, beating analyst estimates of $221 million, and its contracted backlog grew 22% to $20.3 billion. The stock had plunged 17% on Thursday in the AI selloff, but Friday's earnings rebound wiped out that loss. IREN still reported a $263 million net loss, narrower than the $684 million loss a quarter earlier.

🇺🇸 Crypto's toughest critic is set to take the gavel. Senator Elizabeth Warren is expected to chair the Senate Banking Committee when the new Congress convenes on January 3, 2027, after Democrats swept both chambers in the Nov 3 midterms.
The committee writes every crypto market bill in the Senate and oversees the SEC. The CLARITY Act already failed a 49-50 cloture vote in September — under Warren, a Republican version is unlikely to get another committee vote. House Democrats are separately drafting an SEC-led bill under Rep. Maxine Waters.
Stifel expects targeted probes into crypto firms once Warren holds the gavel, and Fortune reports World Liberty Financial is likely among the first targets, with inquiries starting as early as February 2027.

Elon Musk has confirmed Tesla will wind down Cybertruck production at Gigafactory Texas around mid-2027, freeing the line for increased Cybercab robotaxi production.
The stainless-steel pickup — on sale since late 2023 — lasted just three and a half years, hit by 11 recalls and quarterly deliveries estimated at only 3,500–4,300 in 2026. Tesla raised Cybertruck prices the day before the announcement.
