🔒 Ethereum staking just hit a new all-time high.
A record 43.8 million ETH — 35.9% of all Ether in existence — is now locked in staking, according to Bitwise's Q4 staking report. Net inflows reached 1.99 million ETH in Q3, the sixth straight quarter of growth.
Solana is setting records too: active stake climbed to 440.5 million SOL. But yields are shrinking on both networks — ETH's average annual yield fell to 2.63% and SOL's to about 6% — as more tokens chase the same rewards.
Institutions keep coming anyway, with staking ETFs and digital asset treasuries opening the door wider — even as ETH slid 8.5% in today's market rout.
