  • 🚨 BREAKING: Binance is shutting down in France.

  • 🇫🇷 FRANCE DROPS CRYPTO TAX IN 458–0 VOTE

France's National Assembly has rejected the revenue section of its 2027 budget — wiping out three crypto measures in one vote:
    • Tax on crypto-to-stablecoin swaps — dropped
    • Mandatory disclosure of self-custodied holdings over €100,000 — dropped
    • Higher penalties for crypto platforms — dropped

The vote was 458–0, with two abstentions. The Senate takes up the bill from Nov 20, so the measures could still return — but for now, French crypto holders keep the current rules.

  • 🚨 French banking group Crédit Mutuel Arkéa has confirmed a cyberattack — after onchain investigator ZachXBT flagged more than $133M in suspected losses, later converted into crypto.

The bank says attackers reached it through a service provider's platform and used the bank's own account to push fraudulent transfers to other banks. Customer funds were NOT affected, operations have resumed, and part of the stolen funds has been blocked.

Paris prosecutors have opened an investigation. ZachXBT first flagged $106M on Nov 2, then raised the estimate above $133M — the bank validated the order of magnitude but has not confirmed an exact figure.

  • Dollar Pulls Back as Oil Dives 6% — and EUR/USD Climbs Despite Weak German Retail Sales
A strong factory print that could not save the dollar The United States dollar pulled back on Monday, November 2, even though the day's main economic release beat expectations. The ISM Manufacturing PMI improved from 54.5 in September to 55.5 in October, against a forecast of 54.6 — a reading above 50 signals expansion, and a beat like that would normally support the currency. It did not,...

  • Dollar Slides to a One-Month Low as EUR/USD Breaks Above 1.1234 Ahead of the Midterms
The range finally breaks — upward   The range this site's Forex guide mapped just hours ago has broken, and it broke upward. EUR/USD climbed to $1.1234 on Monday, November 2, up about 0.7 percent on the day, after spending the previous session coiled inside 1.1100 to 1.1220. The dollar eased about 0.5 percent against a basket of major currencies to 101.45, touching its lowest in a...

  • How to Read EUR/USD: Support, Resistance and the 1.1100–1.1220 Range Explained for Beginners
EUR/USD is the most traded currency pair in the world, accounting for an estimated 30 percent of all foreign-exchange transactions. The quote is a ratio: at 1.1175, one euro buys 1.1175 US dollars. When the pair rises, the euro is strengthening against the dollar; when it falls, the dollar is strengthening against the euro. Every move is therefore two stories at once, and the pair moves on the...

A market holding its breath The dollar and other major currencies opened the week in a holding pattern on Monday, as investors turned their attention to a US midterm election that could shift the balance of power in Congress and control over the federal purse strings. Traders were bracing for a packed week dominated by the midterms, October US jobs data and central bank rate decisions in the...

  • EUR/USD Enters a Decisive Week: Testing Its 2026 Low Zone as Midterms, Payrolls and a BoE Hike Collide
    ### A quiet Sunday, a loaded weekForeign exchange does not trade on a Sunday, so November 1 is a day for levels, not positions — and the levels for EUR/USD could hardly be more loaded. The pair ended October near 1.12 to the dollar on converter readings (about 1.1166 on one hourly feed), up roughly 0.5% on the day but down about 3.5% over the month, with the euro at its lowest since May...

  • Eurozone GDP Beat Couldn't Push EUR/USD Through 1.1200: Euro Ends October Down Over 1%
The euro got the data it wanted on Friday, October 30 — and still could not break out. Eurozone GDP grew 0.4% in the third quarter, double the 0.2% forecast in a Reuters poll, with annual growth of 1.3% beating the 1.1% expected. EUR/USD pushed to about 1.1215, then stalled, gave back the gains, and closed the month around $1.12 with a decline of more than 1% for October. A beat that...
