BREAKING: Wall Street just went on chain. The DTCC — the clearinghouse behind America's stock market — has officially launched its tokenization service. Twenty major firms including JPMorgan, Citigroup and Morgan Stanley have signed on, and 34 securities worth about $30 trillion are eligible at launch. Each token is backed 1:1 by the real security in custody, with the same rights and protections — and transfers can move around the clock between registered wallets.
