CHAINALYSIS HACKED: ALL USERS EXPOSED — Chainalysis — the blockchain analytics firm used by the FBI, banks and exchanges — says hackers exposed the names, usernames, password hashes and live login tokens of ALL its users. Some passwords were intercepted in transit, and some customer accounts were accessed without permission. Its key tools — KYT, Reactor and address screening — are now offline while accounts are locked and passwords reset. Chainalysis says there is no evidence its investigation data was touched. 🚨 Brazil's Mercado Bitcoin hack just got worse. New on-chain research from Bitquery shows attackers drained $48.6M across 11 blockchains — emptying 36,042 customer deposit addresses for nearly FOUR hours AFTER the exchange said the breach was 'contained.' Over $15M has now been frozen with help from Tether, Circle and Chainalysis.
