Thailand's SEC has filed a criminal complaint against BG Limited, the operator of crypto exchange Bitget, for allegedly running an unlicensed digital asset exchange between 2022 and 2025. Access to Bitget's website, domains and mobile app will be blocked in Thailand from December 5, 2026. The regulator has urged Bitget users in Thailand to act on their assets before the deadline.
