  • What Is a DEX? How Decentralized Exchanges Work — and How They Differ From Binance and Coinbase
A decentralized exchange, or DEX, lets you trade crypto without ever handing your coins to a company. There is no account to open, no deposit to make, and no order book run by an exchange — instead, smart contracts on a blockchain execute your swap, and you keep custody of your funds the whole time. In July 2026, DEXs handled a record 19.5% of all spot trading volume, an all-time high,...

  • What Is a Smart Contract? How Smart Contracts Work, Explained for Beginners
A smart contract is a self-executing program stored on a blockchain that automatically carries out the terms of an agreement when its conditions are met — no bank, no lawyer and no middleman needed to enforce it. Once deployed, the code runs exactly as written, every time, for anyone who interacts with it. If that sounds abstract, think of a vending machine. You put in the right coins,...

  • 🔐 WHAT IS A COLD WALLET?

A cold wallet keeps your crypto OFFLINE — on a hardware device or paper — so no hacker can reach it over the internet.

Unlike funds left on an exchange, YOU hold the private keys. Hot wallets stay connected for everyday trading; cold wallets are for long-term storage. Lose the device AND your recovery phrase, and the funds are gone for good — there is no password reset in crypto.

Not your keys, not your coins. 🔑

  • What Is a Multisig Wallet? How Shared Crypto Wallets Protect Your Funds — and Where They Fail

A multisig wallet removes that single point — but only if it is set up properly, and it is not the automatic safety net many people assume it is. What a Multisig Wallet Actually Is A multisig (multi-signature) wallet requires M of N...

  • How to Spot a Fake NFT: Copycat Collections, Wash Trading and the Checks Before You Buy
Intro A blockchain records ownership transparently — but it does not confirm whether the person who minted an NFT actually owns the underlying content. That gap is where fake NFTs live, and by 2026 they are no longer a rare edge case: they are a routine risk every buyer needs to understand before spending money. A fake NFT is a token created without authorisation, usually copying existing...

  • What Is Yield Farming? How DeFi Yields Actually Work — and the Real Risks
Intro Yield farming is the part of DeFi that sounds too good to be true — and sometimes it is. In plain terms, yield farming means putting your crypto to work in decentralised finance protocols to earn a return: lending it out, providing liquidity for traders, or staking it in a pool. The yields can look spectacular on screen. The risks are real, and they are the part most beginners...
