There is no account to open, no deposit to make, and no order book run by an exchange — instead, smart contracts on a blockchain execute your swap, and you keep custody of your funds the whole time. In July 2026, DEXs handled a record 19.5% of all spot trading volume, an all-time high,...

  • 🚨 BREAKING: Asia's selloff deepens — South Korea's KOSPI crashed 8.55% in early Friday trading, triggering a 20-minute circuit breaker and falling below 5,000 for the first time in nine months.

Samsung fell 10% and SK Hynix plunged 12% as chip stocks led the rout. Japan's Nikkei dropped 6.7%, sliding toward a bear market — down 20% from its June peak.

The rout follows Wall Street's worst day since April 2025, with the Nasdaq down 5.52% on fears that new US AI regulation could slow the data-center boom.

  • πŸ‡¬πŸ‡· Greece just approved its first-ever crypto tax framework.

Parliament voted on Nov 5 to levy a 10% capital gains tax on crypto — down from the 15% originally proposed. The first €500 (~$563) of annual net gains is tax-free, and crypto-to-crypto swaps won't trigger tax. The new rules apply from January 1, 2027.

Greece joins a growing list of EU states bringing crypto fully into the tax net.

  • Best Time to Trade EUR/USD in Pakistan Time: Sessions, the London–New York Overlap and Why Evenings Win

  • βš–οΈ Arkansas has sued prediction-market platform Kalshi, accusing it of running an illegal gambling operation in the state.

Attorney General Tim Griffin filed the suit on Nov 4 against KalshiEX LLC and Kalshi Inc., saying the platform let Arkansas residents as young as 18 wager on sports, elections and entertainment without state gambling licences. The 57-page complaint, filed in Independence County Circuit Court, calls Kalshi a "pocket-sized bookie" and seeks restitution, civil penalties, unpaid gambling taxes and an injunction.

Arkansas is the seventh state to charge, sue or restrict Kalshi, according to a CoinDesk tally. Utah filed 14 criminal charges against the company and its co-founders last week, while the CFTC has sued 10 states defending its jurisdiction over prediction markets. Kalshi says its contracts are federally regulated derivatives, not gambling.

Kalshi took 82% of a record $72.3 billion in combined prediction-market volume in September, according to FM Intelligence.
